Merit Scholarship Educational Enhancement Stipends (Merit Scholar Stipends) fund approved faculty-mentored research/creative projects or unpaid internships during the summer or approved study abroad during the academic year or summer for Presidential Scholars awarded a stipend upon admission to Temple. Eligible Stipend Students: Once the application opens, log-in to apply to use your Merit Scholar Stipend for the upcoming term. You must be registered full-time to access the system. Summer 2024 application for internship/research/study abroad now closed. Deadline was March 9.
Applications are reviewed first by Temple faculty mentor for research, college internship approver, or study abroad advisor; next by student’s school/college; and finally by Undergraduate Studies. Application status may be tracked in the system. Approver info may be found here.
